കപ്പാരേസീ

കാപ്പർ കുടുംബം എന്ന അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു സസ്യകുടുംബമാണ് കപ്പാരേസീ (Capparaceae) (അഥവാ Capparidaceae). ബ്രസിക്കെൽസ് (Brassicales) എന്ന നിരയിലാണ് ഇവയെ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.  ഇപ്പോൾ ഈ കുടുംബത്തിൽ 33 ജനുസുകളിലായി ഏതാണ്ട് 700 സ്പീഷിസ് ചെടികളുണ്ട്. അവയിൽ 150 സ്പീഷിസുകൾ ഉള്ള കപ്പാരിസ് (Capparis), മീറുവ (Maerua), (ഏതാണ്ട് 100 സ്പീഷിസുകൾ), ബോസ്സിയ (Boscia) (37 സ്പീഷിസുകൾ), കഡാബ(Cadaba) (30 സ്പീഷിസുകൾ) എന്നിവ പ്രമുഖമാണ്.
