[6] പ്രാഥമിക വിശകലനത്തിൽ 2.5 ദശലക്ഷം വയസ് പ്രായം കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ബ്രയാൻ പാറ്റേഴ്സണും വില്യം ഡബ്ല്യു. ഹൊവെൽസുമാണ് പഠനങ്ങൾക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയത്. പാറ്റേഴ്സണും സഹപ്രവർത്തകരും ജന്തുജാലങ്ങളുടെ പരസ്പര ബന്ധ ഡാറ്റയെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി മാതൃകയുടെ പ്രായം 4.0–4.5 വർഷമായി പരിഷ്കരിച്ചു.
