ഉഷ്ണമേഖല

ഭൂമദ്ധ്യരേഖക്ക് ഇരുവശത്തുമുള്ള താരതമ്യേനെ കൂടുതൽ ചൂടു് അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്ന പ്രദേശമാണു് ഉഷ്ണമേഖല. ഉത്തരായനരേഖക്കും (അക്ഷാശം വടക്കു് 23° 26′ 16″) ദക്ഷിണായനരേഖക്കും (അക്ഷാശം തെക്കു് 23° 26′ 16″) മദ്ധ്യേയുള്ള പ്രദേശമാണിതു്. കേരളം ഉഷ്ണമേഖലാപ്രദേശത്താണു്.
