ഉത്തരാ ഉണ്ണി കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പരുസ്കാരങ്ങൾ നേടിയ[1] പരിശീലന സിദ്ധിച്ച ഒരു ഭാരതനാട്യ നർത്തകിയും യുനെസ്കോയുടെ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ഡാൻസ് കൗൺസിൽ അംഗവുമാണ്. ഹ്രസ്വചിത്രങ്ങൾ, ഡോക്യുമെന്ററികൾ, സംഗീത വീഡിയോകൾ എന്നിവ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതിലും സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്നതിലും അവർ വൈദഗ്ദ്ധ്യം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരു അഭിനേത്രികൂടിയായ[2] അവർ പ്രധാനമായി തമിഴ്, മലയാള ചലച്ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ വേഷങ്ങൾ അവതരിപ്പിക്കാറുണ്ട്. കൊച്ചിയിലെ ടെമ്പിൾ സ്റ്റെപ്സ്[3] എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന നൃത്ത അക്കാദമിയുടെ മേധാവിയായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന അവർ ജയ്ഹിന്ദ് ടിവിയിലെ പരിപാടികളുടെ അവതാരകകൂടിയാണ്.
