ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ ഗൈനക്കോളജിസ്റ്റാണ് സ്റ്റീവൻ എ. വാസിലേവ് (ജനനം: ജൂലൈ 17, 1954) [1] ഗൈനക്കോളജിക്കൽ ഓങ്കോളജിയിൽ വൈദഗ്ദ്ധ്യം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. -പ്രൊവിഡൻസ് സെന്റ് ജോൺസ് ഹെൽത്ത് സെന്റർ, കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെ സാന്താ മോണിക്കയിലെ ജോൺ വെയ്ൻ കാൻസർ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിലെ പ്രൊഫസറും ലോമ ലിൻഡ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് മെഡിസിൻ ഫാക്കൽറ്റിയിലെ പ്രൊഫസറുമാണ്.[2][3] മിനിമലി ഇൻവേസിവ് (ലാപ്രോസ്കോപ്പിക്), റോബോട്ടിക് കാൻസർ സർജറി, കോംപ്ലക്സ് പെൽവിക് സർജറി എന്നിവയുടെ വക്താവാണ് വാസിലേവ്. കൂടാതെ മെഡിക്കൽ, സർജിക്കൽ തെറാപ്പികൾ, ഇന്റഗ്രേറ്റീവ് മെഡിസിൻ, സെർവിക്കൽ ക്യാൻസർ, ഹ്യൂമൻ പാപ്പിലോമ വൈറസ് (HPV) എന്നിവയ്ക്കുള്ള സ്ക്രീനിംഗ് എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ച് ഗവേഷണം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[4][5]
