സിനി ജോസ്
മലയാളിയായ ഇന്ത്യൻ കായിക താരമാണ് സിനി ജോസ് (Sini Jose). ഹ്രസ്വദൂര ഓട്ടക്കാരിയായ സിനി 400 മീറ്ററിൽ ആണ് പ്രധാനമായുംശ്രദ്ധകേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുന്നത്.

ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം
തിരുത്തുക1987 മെയ് 25ന് എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ അവോലി ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു. മുണ്ടക്കൽ ജോസ് ജോസഫ് റിതമ്മ ജോസ് എന്നിവരുടെ മകളാണ്. എറണാകുളത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻ റെയിൽവേയിൽ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥയാണ്.[1][2]
കായിക ജീവിതം
തിരുത്തുക2010ൽ ഡൽഹിയിൽ നടന്ന കോമ്മൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ 4 ഗുണം 400 മീറ്റർ റിലേയിൽ സ്വർണ്ണ മെഡൽ നേടി. മൻജീത് കൗർ, എസി അശ്വിനി, മൻദീപ് കൗർ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു ടീമിലെ മറ്റു അംഗങ്ങൾ.[3][4][5]
2010ൽ റാഞ്ചിയിൽ നടന്ന ഫെഡറേഷൻ കപ്പ് അത്‌ലറ്റിക്‌സ് 53.01 മനിറ്റിൽ 400 മീറ്റർ ഓടിയതാണ് ഇവരുടെ വ്യക്തിഗത ഇനത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സമയം.[6] ഈ മത്സരത്തിൽ സ്വർണ്ണം നേടി. 2010ൽ ഏഷ്യൻ ഗെയിംസിൽ 4x400 മീറ്റർ റിലേയിൽ സ്വർണ്ണം നേടി. 2009ൽ ഏഷ്യൻ ചാംപ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ 4ഃ400 മീറ്റർ റിലേയിൽ വെള്ളി മെഡൽ നേടി. 2007ലെ ഏഷ്യൻ ചാംപ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ 4ഃ400 മീറ്റർ റിലേയിൽ സ്വർണ്ണമെഡൽ നേടി.
വിലക്ക്
തിരുത്തുകഉത്തേജക മരുന്ന് ഉപയോഗിച്ചെന്ന് തെളിഞ്ഞതിനെ തുടർന്ന് സിനി ജോസ് അടക്കമുള്ള കായികതാരങ്ങൾക്ക് ദേശീയ ഉത്തേജക മരുന്ന് വിരുദ്ധ ഏജൻസി 2011 ജൂലൈ മുതൽ ഒരു വർഷത്തെ വിലക്ക് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തി. ഉത്തേജകവിവാദത്തെ കുറിച്ച് അന്വേഷിക്കാനായി കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ നിയോഗിച്ച മുൻ ഹൈക്കോടതി ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് മുകുൾ മുഗ്ധൽ അധ്യക്ഷനായ ഏകാംഗ സമിതിയാണ് പിന്നീട് താരങ്ങളെ കുറ്റവിമുക്തരാക്കി.[7]
