വ്ലാദിമിർ വൈസോട്സ്കി
ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലെ റഷ്യൻ ഗായകനും സംഗീതജ്ഞനും നടനുമായിരുന്നു വ്ലാദിമിർ സെമ്യൊനോവിച്ച് വൈസോട്സ്കി (Russian: Влади́мир Семёнович Высо́цкий) (ജനുവരി 25, 1938 - ജൂലൈ 25, 1980). ജൂത-റഷ്യൻ[1] പാരമ്പര്യമുള്ള അദ്ദേഹം റഷ്യൻ സംഗീതസംസ്കാരത്തിൽ മായാത്ത മുദ്ര പതിപ്പിച്ചു. ബാർഡ് (бард) എന്ന പദമുപയോഗിച്ചാണ് സോവിയറ്റ് യൂണിയനിൽ ഗായകനും ഗിറ്റാറിസ്റ്റുമെല്ലാമായിരുന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതപാടവം വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ സോവിയറ്റ് യൂണിയനിൽ പ്രത്യേക അർത്ഥം കൈവന്ന ഈ പദത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് വൈസോട്സ്കിക്ക് വലിയ മതിപ്പില്ലായിരുന്നു. താൻ പ്രധാനമായും ഒരു നടനും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമാണെന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹം കരുതിയത്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ രചനകളെ സോവിയറ്റ് യൂണിയനിലെ 'ഔദ്യോഗിക' സാംസ്കാരികപ്രസ്ഥാനം അവഗണിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും ജീവിതകാലത്തുതന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ധാരാളം പ്രശസ്തി ലഭിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പാത പിൻതുടരാനാഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ധാരാളം റഷ്യൻ സംഗീതജ്ഞരിലൂടെയും നടന്മാരിലൂടെയും വൈസോട്സ്കി ഇന്നും റഷ്യൻ സാംസ്കാരികലോകത്തിൽ ഗണ്യമായ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തുന്നു.
