The Malayalam version of the largest Free Encylopedia called Malayalam Wikipedia currently has over 22,000 articles in it. The Malayalam Wiki projects Malayalam Wikipedia, WikiBooks, Wikitionary, WikiQuote, Wikiversity are all very important for Malayalam language and it also helps as a good source for information for the generations to come.

To spread awareness about Wikipedia among more people, we are now conducting Wikipedia study classes at all possible locations. The forth Malayalam Wiki studyclass will be held on 2012, February 11th at Bangalore.

Anyone who is interested in any of the Malayalam Wiki projects are welcome to participate in the class. Topis like Wiki, Wikipedia, sister concerns of Malayalam Wikipedia, how to start an article in Wikipedia, how to search for articles in Wikipedia, the format of Wikipedia articles, Malayalam typing, editing Wikipedia, and all similar topics which can help a new Wikipedia editor will be covered in the class. Questions about Wikipedia and related subjects will also be answered by experienced editors. The class has been scheduled to start at 2 PM and will continue till 5 PM. Registration for the event is absolutely free.
