ലോക സമാധാനദിനം
ലോകസമാധാനത്തിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഓർമപ്പെടുത്താനായി ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്രസഭ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ദിനമാണ് സെപ്റ്റംബർ 21. വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളും രാഷ്ട്രീയ സംഘടനകളും പട്ടാളക്യാമ്പുകളും സെപ്റ്റംബർ 21 സമാധാനദിനമായി ആചരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. 1981ൽ മുതലാണ് ഐക്യരാഷ്ട്രസഭ ഈ ദിവസം ആചരിക്കാൻ ആരംഭിച്ചത്.
