ഹെപ്പാരിൻ-ഇൻഡ്യൂസ്ഡ് ത്രോംബോസൈറ്റോപീനിയ കാരണം ഹെപ്പാരിൻ‌സ് വിപരീതഫലമുണ്ടാക്കുമ്പാൾ ലെപിരുഡിൻ ഒരു ആൻറികൊയാഗുലന്റായി ഉപയോഗിക്കാം.
2012 മെയ് 31 ന് ലെപിറുഡിൻ (റിഫ്ലുഡാൻ) ഉത്പാദനം നിർത്തിയതായി ബയർ അറിയിച്ചു. 2013 മധ്യത്തോടെ മൊത്തക്കച്ചവടക്കാരിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വിതരണം കുറയുമെന്ന് കമ്പനി അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. [2]
