റീയൽഗർ
റിയർഗർ, α-As4S4, "റൂബി സൾഫർ" അല്ലെങ്കിൽ "റൂബി ഓഫ് ആർസെനിക്" എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ആർസെനിക് സൾഫൈഡ് മിനറൽ ആണ്. മൃദുവും മുറിയ്ക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നതുമായ ഇവ മോണോക്ലിനിക് പരലുകളായോ ഒന്നിനോടൊന്ന് കൂടിചേർന്നതോ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പൊടിരൂപമായോ, ഗ്രാനൂൾസ് ആയോ ധാതു ഓർപിമെന്റ് (As2S3)(മനയോല) ആയി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടോ കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. ഓറഞ്ച് ചുവപ്പ് നിറത്തിലും 320 ഡിഗ്രി സെൽഷ്യസിൽ കത്തിക്കുമ്പോൾ നീല ജ്വാല ഉണ്ടാകുകയും ആഴ്സെനികിന്റെയും സൾഫറിന്റെയും ബാഷ്പപമുണ്ടാകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. റിയർഗർ മൃദുവും 1.5 മുതൽ 2 വരെയുള്ള മോഹ്സ് കാഠിന്യവും, ആപേക്ഷിക സാന്ദ്രത 3.5 ആണ്. ഇത് ഓറഞ്ച് നിറമുള്ളതും, ട്രൈമോർഫിക്കും ആർസെനിക് സൾഫൈഡ് മിനറലുകളായ ആയ അലക്രാനൈറ്റും പാരാറിയർഗർ എന്നിവയായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.[5]അറബിക് നാമം റഹ്ജ് അൽ-ഉവാർ (رهج الغار, ""powder of the mine""), കാറ്റലൻ, മധ്യകാല ലത്തീൻ എന്നിവ വഴിയാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ അതിന്റെ ആദ്യകാല റെക്കോഡ് 1390-കളിലാണ്.[6]
