രാംനിക്‌ലാൽ കിർചന്ദ് ഗാന്ധി
ഇന്ത്യൻ പീഡിയാട്രിക് സർജൻ, മെഡിക്കൽ അക്കാദമിക്, എഴുത്തുകാരൻ, കൂടാതെ അസോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് സർജൻസ് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ എന്നിവയുടെ പ്രസിഡണ്ടുമായിരുന്നു രാംനിക്‌ലാൽ കിർചന്ദ് ഗാന്ധി.[1][2] ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ കുമയൂൺ മേഖലയിലെ ഒരു സാധുകുടുംബത്തിൽ 1929 ജനുവരി 18 ന് അദ്ദേഹം ജനിച്ചു. രാജ്കോട്ടിൽ സ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ചെയ്ത അദ്ദേഹം വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്ര ബിരുദം എഡ്വേർഡ് രാജാവ് മെമ്മോറിയൽ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലിലും സേത് ഗൊർധൻദാസ് സുന്ദർദാസ് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലും നടത്തി. ഒന്നാം റാങ്കോടെ പാസായ അദ്ദേഹം മെഡിസിൻ പ്രാക്ടീസ് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനിടയിൽ പീഡിയാട്രിക് സർജറിയിൽ അതേ സ്ഥാപനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദാനന്തരബിരുദം നേടി.

അസോസിയേഷൻ ഓഫ് സർജൻസ് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റായിരുന്ന ഗാന്ധി, 1965 മുതൽ 1989 വരെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ജേണൽ ഓഫ് സർജറിയുടെ[1] എഡിറ്ററും എഡിൻബറോ റോയൽ കോളേജ് ഓഫ് സർജൺസിന്റെ ഒരു ഓണററി ഫെലോയും ആയിരുന്നു.[3] 1983 ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച G. D. Adhia's Operative Surgery and Instruments[4] എന്ന ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്റെ സഹ രചയിതാവാണ് അദ്ദേഹം. ഇന്ത്യ സർക്കാർ 1985 -ൽ പത്മശ്രീ നൽകി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ആദരിച്ചു.[5]
2003 ജൂൺ 14 ന് 74 ആം വയസ്സിൽ അദ്ദേഹം അന്തരിച്ചു, ഭാര്യ മധു. [1]
