ഫിലിപ്പീൻസിലെ സെലെബ്സ് കടലിന്റെ ഭാഗമായ മിൻഡാനാവോ ദ്വീപ് തീരത്ത് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഉൾക്കടൽ ആണ് മോറോ ഗൾഫ്.രാജ്യത്തിലെ ട്യൂണ മത്സ്യബന്ധനസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഗൾഫ്.[1]

കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്തെ മിൻഡാനാവോയുടെ പ്രധാന ഭാഗവും പടിഞ്ഞാറ് മിൻഡാനാവോയിലെ സാംബോംഗാ പെനിൻസുലക്കു ചുറ്റുമായി ഗൾഫ് നീണ്ടുകിടക്കുന്നു, ഉപദ്വീപിലെ പ്രധാന ജലസംഭരണികൾ ഗൾഫിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു[2]
