മുസ്ദലിഫ
ഹജ്ജ് തീർത്ഥാടനത്തിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാന ഇടമായ മുസ്ദലിഫ സൗദി അറേബ്യയിലെ ഹിജാസ് മേഖലയിലെ മക്കയ്ക്ക് സമീപമുള്ള തുറന്നതും നിരപ്പുള്ളതുമായ പ്രദേശമാണ്.[1][2][3][4] മിനയ്ക്കും അറഫാത്തിനും ഇടയിലുള്ള റൂട്ടിൽ മിനയുടെ തെക്കുകിഴക്കായിട്ടാണ് മുസ്ദലിഫ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.

അറഫാത്ത് പർവതത്തിൽ ഒരു പകൽ മുഴുവനായും അല്ലാഹുവിനെ (ദൈവത്തെ) മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതും അല്ലാഹുവിനോടുള്ള പശ്ചാത്താപം ചോദിക്കുന്നതും ക്ഷമ ചോദിക്കുന്നതുമായ പ്രാര്ഥനകൾക്കായി ചിലവഴിച്ചതിന് ശേഷമാണ് മുസ്ദലിഫയിലെ താമസം. അറഫാത്തിൽ, ളുഹ്‌റിന്റെ (മധ്യാഹ്ന പ്രാർത്ഥന) സമയത്ത് ളുഹ്‌റും അസ്‌റും (സായാഹ്ന പ്രാർത്ഥന) ഒരുമിച്ചും ചുരുക്കിയുമാണ് നടത്തുന്നത്. ഇസ്ലാമിക മാസമായ ദുൽ-ഹിജ്ജയിലെ ഒമ്പതാം ദിവസം സൂര്യാസ്തമയത്തിനുശേഷം, മുസ്ലീം തീർത്ഥാടകർ മുസ്ദലിഫയിലേക്ക് യാത്രചെയ്യുന്നു, ചിലപ്പോൾ തിരക്ക് കാരണം രാത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചേരും. മുസ്ദലിഫയിൽ എത്തിയ ശേഷം, തീർത്ഥാടകർ മഗ്‌രിബും (സന്ധ്യാ പ്രാർത്ഥന) ഇശാ നമസ്‌കാരവും (രാത്രി പ്രാർത്ഥന) ഒരുമിച്ചും ചുരുക്കിയും നടത്തുന്നു. പ്രതീകാത്മകമായ കല്ലെറിയൽ ചടങ്ങിന് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള കല്ലുകൾ മുസ്ദലിഫയിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് ശേഖരിക്കുന്നത്.[5][6][7]

മുസ്ദലിഫയിലെ തുറന്ന മേൽക്കൂരയുള്ള പള്ളി അൽ-മഷ്‌അർ അൽ-ഹറം അഥവാ "ദ സേക്രഡ് ഗ്രോവ്" (അറബി: ٱلْمَشْعَر ٱلْحَرَام) എന്നാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.[1][2][3][4][8]
