ഫ്രഞ്ച് വിപ്ലവത്തിന് ശേഷം ഫ്രാൻസ് ഭരിച്ച ഭരണാധികാരികളിലൊരാളായിരുന്നു മാക്സിമില്യൺ ഫ്രാൻക്സോവ മാരി ഇസിഡോറെ ഡെ റോബസ്പിയർ (മെയ് 6 - 1758 – ജൂലൈ 28 1794) ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിൻറെ ഭരണകാലം ഭീകരവാഴ്ചയുടെ കാലം എന്നാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.
