ബെറ്റി മിഡ്ലർ
ബെറ്റി മിഡ്ലർ (ജനനം: ഡിസംബർ 1, 1945) ഗായികയും ഗാനരചയിതാവും നടിയും, ഹാസ്യനടിയും സിനിമാ നിർമ്മാതാവുമൊക്കെയായിരുന്ന അമേരിക്കൻ വനിതയാണ്.[1] ഹവായിയിലെ ഹോണോലുലുവിൽ ജനിച്ചു. 1960 കളിൽ തിരക്കേറിയ താരമാകുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ് അനേകം നാടകങ്ങളിലും അഭിനയിച്ചിരുന്നു. ദി റോസ് (1979) എന്ന സംഗീത നാടകചലച്ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് മിഡ്ലർ ആദ്യമായി അഭിനയിച്ചത്. അത് മികച്ച നടിക്കുള്ള ഗോൾഡൻ ഗ്ലോബ് അവാർഡ് - മോഷൻ പിക്ചർ കോമഡി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മ്യൂസിക്കൽ അവാർഡ് , കൂടാതെ മികച്ച നടിക്കുള്ള അക്കാദമി അവാർഡിനുള്ള നാമനിർദ്ദേശവും നേടി.
