ബീജശീർഷം

ബീജശീർഷംThe hypocotyl (short for "hypocotyledonous stem",^[1] അർത്ഥം "below seed leaf") മുളച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന തൈച്ചെടിയുടെ തണ്ട് ആണ്. പരിപ്പിന്റെ അടിയിലും ബീജമൂലത്തിന്റെ മുകളിലായും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.
