ഫാത്തിഹ് ബിറോൾ
ഒരു ടർക്കിഷ് സാമ്പത്തിക വിദഗ്ധനും ഊർജ്ജ വിദഗ്ധനുമാണ് ഫാത്തിഹ് ബിറോൾ (ജനനം 22 മാർച്ച് 1958, അങ്കാറയിൽ). അദ്ദേഹം 2015 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 1 മുതൽ ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ എനർജി ഏജൻസിയുടെ (IEA) എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഡയറക്ടറായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പാരീസ് ആസ്ഥാനമായുള്ള അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര സംഘടനയെ നവീകരിക്കുന്നതിനായി ഇന്ത്യയും[1] ചൈനയും പോലുള്ള വളർന്നുവരുന്ന സമ്പദ്‌വ്യവസ്ഥകളുമായുള്ള ബന്ധം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുക, ശുദ്ധമായ ഊർജ പരിവർത്തനം, നെറ്റ് സീറോ എമിഷനിലെത്താനുള്ള അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ശ്രമങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള നിരവധി നടപടികൾ അദ്ദേഹം സ്വീകരിച്ചു.[2]

2021-ൽ ലോകത്തെ ഏറ്റവും സ്വാധീനമുള്ള ആളുകളുടെ ടൈം 100 പട്ടികയിൽ ബിറോൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.[3] ഫോർബ്സ് മാഗസിൻ ലോകത്തെ ഊർജ്ജ രംഗത്തെ ഏറ്റവും സ്വാധീനമുള്ള വ്യക്തികളുടെ പട്ടികയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്[4] കൂടാതെ 2017-ൽ ഫിനാൻഷ്യൽ ടൈംസ് എനർജി പേഴ്സണാലിറ്റിയായി അംഗീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. [5] വേൾഡ് ഇക്കണോമിക് ഫോറത്തിന്റെ (ദാവോസ്) എനർജി അഡ്വൈസറി ബോർഡിന്റെ ചെയർമാനാണ് ബിറോൾ. അച്ചടി, ഇലക്‌ട്രോണിക് മാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ പതിവായി സംഭാവന ചെയ്യുന്ന വ്യക്തിയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം. എല്ലാ വർഷവും പ്രധാന അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ഉച്ചകോടികളിലും കോൺഫറൻസുകളിലും നിരവധി പ്രസംഗങ്ങൾ നടത്താറുണ്ട്.[6]
ഔദ്യോഗിക ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യകാലം
തിരുത്തുക1995-ൽ ജൂനിയർ അനലിസ്റ്റായി IEA-യിൽ ചേരുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ്, ബിറോൾ വിയന്നയിലെ പെട്രോളിയം കയറ്റുമതി രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ സംഘടനയിൽ (OPEC) ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഐ‌ഇ‌എയിലെ വർഷങ്ങളായി, ബിറോൾ ചീഫ് ഇക്കണോമിസ്റ്റിന്റെ ജോലിയിലേക്ക് ഉയർന്നു. 2015-ൽ എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഡയറക്‌ടറാകുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് ഐ‌ഇ‌എയുടെ സൂക്ഷ്മമായി നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്ന വേൾഡ് എനർജി ഔട്ട്‌ലുക്ക് റിപ്പോർട്ടിന്റെ ചുമതല വഹിച്ചിരുന്നു.
തുർക്കി പൗരനായ ബിറോൾ 1958-ൽ അങ്കാറയിലാണ് ജനിച്ചത്. ഇസ്താംബുൾ ടെക്‌നിക്കൽ യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്ന് പവർ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൽ ബിഎസ്‌സി ബിരുദം നേടി. വിയന്നയിലെ സാങ്കേതിക സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് ഊർജ്ജ സാമ്പത്തിക ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ എംഎസ്‌സിയും പിഎച്ച്‌ഡിയും നേടി. 2013-ൽ ലണ്ടനിലെ ഇംപീരിയൽ കോളേജ് ബിറോളിന് ഡോക്ടറേറ്റ് ഓഫ് സയൻസ് ഹോണറിസ് കോസ നൽകി ആദരിച്ചു. 2013-ൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഫുട്ബോൾ ക്ലബ് ഗലാറ്റസരായ് എസ്.കെയുടെ ഓണററി ലൈഫ് അംഗമാക്കി.
