Usage

MetroLyrics is a major legal licensor of lyrics of popular songs from Gracenote and LyricFind's lyrics licensing service (see Gracenote press release). This template is designed to link to the lyrics page for a particular song or track on their site, and is intended to be used in the "External links" section. At the moment, User:LyricsBot exclusively uses this site, but in the future, when the necessary data is available, we will offer readers multiple lyrics sites to choose from.

Note that you should only link to MetroLyrics pages with the LyricFind "LF" logo, as shown to the right. If this logo is missing, the page is user-contributed content, and is in all likelihood a copyright violation. Per WP:ELNEVER, we cannot link to copyright violations.

Example usage

For example, in the article Little Guitars, {{MetroLyrics song|van-halen|little-guitars}} produces:
