id is the number after http://www.iucnredlist.org/apps/redlist/details/ in the IUCN Red List URL for the species concerned (excluding /0), e.g. in http://www.iucnredlist.org/apps/redlist/details/42664/0 it is: 42664
scientific_name is the scientific name as used on the IUCN Red List page, e.g. Elephantulus rufescens which will automatically be italicised.
