ഫലകം:ISO 639 name az is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code az, for example: {{Translated page |az |name of page at Azerbaijani Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Azerbaijani Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Azerbaijani Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |az}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|az| some text in Azerbaijani}} wraps the text with <span lang="az"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Azerbaijani-language text. Also available is {{Lang-az |some text in Azerbaijani}} which displays as Azerbaijani: some text in Azerbaijani.
- {{R from other language|az|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Azerbaijani-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|az}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Azerbaijani-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
