പൗഗ്കീപ്‌സി (/pəˈkɪpsi/ pə-KIP-see, (പൗഗ്കീപ്‌സി പട്ടണത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വേർതിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതന് സിറ്റി ഓഫ് പൗഗ്കീപ്‌സി എന്ന് ഔദ്യോഗികമായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു) ന്യൂയോർക്ക് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ഒരു നഗരമാണ്. ഡച്ചസ് കൗണ്ടിയുടെ കൗണ്ടി സീറ്റായ ഈ നഗരത്തിലെ ജനസംഖ്യ 2018 ലെ സെൻസസിൽ കണക്കാക്കിയതുപ്രകാരം 30,356 ആയിരുന്നു.[4] ന്യൂയോർക്ക് മെട്രോപൊളിറ്റൻ ഏരിയയുടെ അന്തർഭാഗത്തിനും സംസ്ഥാന തലസ്ഥാനമായ അൽബാനിയ്ക്കുമിടയിൽ ഹഡ്‌സൺ റിവർ വാലി മേഖലയിലാണ് പൗഗ്കീപ്‌സി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ന്യൂയോർക്ക് മെട്രോപൊളിറ്റൻ ഏരിയയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന പൗഗ്കീപ്‌സി-ന്യൂബർഗ്-മിഡിൽടൗൺ മെട്രോപൊളിറ്റൻ പ്രദേശത്തെ ഒരു പ്രധാന നഗരമാണിത്.[5] സമീപസ്ഥമായ ന്യൂയോർക്കിലെ ഓറഞ്ച് കൗണ്ടിയിലെ ഹഡ്‌സൺ വാലി പ്രാദേശിക വിമാനത്താവളവും സ്റ്റിവാർട്ട് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വിമാനത്താവളവുമാണ് ഈ നഗരത്തിനു സേവനം നൽകുന്നത്.

പൗഗ്കീപ്‌സി നഗരത്തെ "ദി ക്വീൻ സിറ്റി ഓഫ് ഹഡ്‌സൺ" എന്നും വിളിക്കുന്നു.[6] പതിനേഴാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ ഡച്ചുകാർ ഇത് സ്ഥിരതാമസകേന്ദ്രമാക്കുകയും അമേരിക്കൻ വിപ്ലവത്തിന് തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെ ന്യൂയോർക്ക് സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ തലസ്ഥാനമാക്കുകയുമുണ്ടായി. 1854-ൽ ഇത് ഒരു നഗരമായി ചാർട്ടർ ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു. നഗരത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പാലങ്ങളിൽ,മുൻ റെയിൽ‌വേ പാലവും പൗഗ്കീപ്‌സി ബ്രിഡ്ജ് എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നതും 2009 ഒക്ടോബർ 3 ന് പൊതു നടപ്പാതയായി വീണ്ടും തുറന്നതുമായ വാക്ക് വേ ഓവർ ദ ഹഡ്‌സൺ, 1930 ൽ നിർമ്മിക്കപ്പെട്ടതും ഒരു പ്രധാന തെരുവീഥിയായ യു‌എസ് റൂട്ട് 44 ഹഡ്‌സൺ നദിയുടെ മുകളിലൂടെ കടന്നുപോകുന്നതുമായ മിഡ്-ഹഡ്‌സൺ ബ്രിഡ്ജ് എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.
