പാർലമെന്റ് അംഗവും 2016 നവംബർ മുതൽ ലഖിംപൂർ സീറ്റിൽ നിന്ന് 16-ാം ലോക്സഭയിലേക്ക് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരനാണ് പ്രദാൻ ബറുവ. സിറ്റിംഗ് അംഗം സർബാനന്ദ സോനോവാൾ 2016 മെയ് മാസത്തിൽ അസം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായതിന് ശേഷം സീറ്റിൽ നിന്ന് രാജിവച്ച ഒഴിവിൽ 2016 നവംബറിൽ നടന്ന ഉപതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ അദ്ദേഹം വിജയിച്ചു, .[1] നേരത്തെ ധേമാജി ജില്ല (നമ്പർ 113) ധേമാജി നിയമസഭാ മണ്ഡലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അസം നിയമസഭാംഗമായിരുന്നു..
