വിക്കിപീഡിയ ഒരു യുദ്ധക്കളമല്ല എന്ന് നയങ്ങളും മാര്‍ഗ്ഗരേഖകളും പറയുന്നു. ഇത്രയും കാലം വിക്കിയില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിട്ടും ഇതൊന്നും ആര്‍ക്കും മനസ്സിലായില്ല എന്നുണ്ടോ ? Collaborative Projects ല്‍ എല്ലാം ആശയപരമായ ഭിന്നതകളും മറ്റുമുണ്ടാവും അതൊക്കെ ഇങ്ങനെ തമ്മില്‍ തല്ലിയും ചെളിവാരിയെറിഞ്ഞുമല്ല തീര്‍ക്കേണ്ടത്. ഹേ ചേട്ടന്മാരേ.... പരസ്പരബഹുമാനത്തോടെ പെരുമാറാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കാവില്ലേ ? വിക്കിപീഡിയ പോലെയുള്ള എല്ലാ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങലുടെയും നെടും തൂണ്‍ പരസ്പര ബഹുമാനവും ആശയസമന്വയവുമൊക്കെയാണ്‍. ദയവായി ഇനിയെങ്കിലും സംവാദം താളുകളില്‍ ചേരിതിരിഞ്ഞ്‌ അടിവെക്കരുത്. സംവാദം താളുകള്‍ എല്ലാം തന്നെ യൂസറുടേതും, ലേഖനത്തിന്റേതും, പഞ്ചായത്തും എല്ലാം വിക്കിപീഡിയയുടെ ഭാഗമാണ് അവയില്‍ മറ്റുള്ളവരെ പുച്ഛിക്കുന്നരീതിയിലുള്ള കമന്റുകള്‍ ദയവായി ഇടരുത്. നന്ദി--[[ഉപയോക്താവ്:Tux the penguin|ടക്സ് എന്ന പെന്‍‌ഗ്വിന്‍]] 06:46, 23 ജൂലൈ 2007 (UTC)
: ടക്സ്, പോളിസി കൊള്ളാം. പക്ഷേ അതു ലംഘിക്കുമ്പോള് പോളിസി നടപ്പാക്കാന് പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ളവര് ഉണ്ടാവണം. ചള്ളിയാന് ഇവിടെ മാടമ്പിക്കളി കളിക്കുകയാണ്. ചള്ളിയാന് ഒന്നാന്തരം വിവരക്കേടുമകള് എഴുതിവെയ്ക്കുമെന്ന് എന്റെ എഡിറ്റുകള് തെളിയിച്ചു. അതിന്റെ ഈര്ഷ്യ ഹീനമായ ഇടപാടുകളിലൂടെ ആവര്ത്തിച്ച് പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. Bold ആയ അഡ്മിന്മാരുണ്ടെങ്കില് പലവട്ടം ബ്ലോക്ക് ചെയ്യേണ്ട കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് ചള്ളിയാന് ചെയ്തത്. സോക്കുണ്ടാക്കി വോട്ടു ചെയ്തു. അതിനെപ്പറ്റി ആവര്ത്തിച്ചു കള്ളം പറഞ്ഞു മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ ക്ഷമ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു. ഇപ്പോഴും അതേ കള്ളം ആവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു. തന്റെ സോക്കുകളെ നേരത്തേ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് വര്ത്തമാനം. താന് എന്ന പദം ബഹുമാനപൂര് വ്വം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന സംബോധനയാണെന്ന് ചള്ളിയാന് നാണംകെട്ട രീതിയില് കള്ളം പറഞ്ഞു. ഇവിടെ ഒരാളും അതു ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തില്ല. കമ്യൂണിറ്റി (എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാല് പറയത്തക്ക കമ്യൂണിറ്റിയൊന്നും ഇവിടെയില്ല) നെറികേടുകളെ വകവെച്ചു കൊടുത്താല് എഡിറ്റര്മാര്ക്ക് അതു സ്വയം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യേണ്ടിവരും. താനും ഡേയും ഒക്കെ ആദരപൂര് വ്വമായ സംബോധനകളായിരിക്കുന്നിടത്തോളം എന്റെ ഭാഷണത്തില് ചള്ളിയാന് (മാത്രം) നീയും ഡേയും ചിലപ്പോള് വഷളനും (വഷളത്തരം കാണിക്കുമ്പോള്) ആയിരിക്കും. മറിച്ച് ആ സംബോധനകള് ചള്ളിയാന് പിന് വലിക്കുന്നെങ്കില് ഈ അര്ത്ഥമില്ലാത്ത കലഹം ഇവിടെ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കാം. മറിച്ച് ഇതിന്റെ മുകളില് കാണുന്നതുപോലെ disruptive ഏര്പ്പാടാണ് ചള്ളിയാന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെങ്കില് ചള്ളിയാന്റെ വിക്കിജീവിതം സുകരമാവില്ല. ഞാന് ഇന്നലെ എഡിറ്റിങ് നിറുത്താമെന്നു വിചാരിച്ചതാണ്. പിന്നെയും തോന്ന്യാസം കണ്ടപ്പോള് അങ്ങനെപോയാല് ശരിയാവില്ലെന്നതുകൊണ്ടാണ് വീണ്ടും ചിലതു കുറിച്ചത്. Dear Admins and Bureaucrat,
This has been going on for too long and too far. At the very next instance of abuse / personal insult, '''please block the user who is commiting that''' - be it Challiyan or Calicuter or Myself or Jigesh or whoever. If it is the first instance of abuse from a new user, please warn him once or twice, and act tough. If it is someone who has conducted himself with scant respect to others before, please block him at the next instance. You dont have to look at his previous edit history for that.
Intentions of each individual may be right, but the spirit of wikipedia is getting destroyed with each and every instance of this mud slinging. We cannot be in a situation where new users are repeatedly turned away. We cannot let people come in with prejudices and start throwing dirt at each other. You can block 5 or 10 of current users, and still, make it a better place for peaceful coexistence to anyone who would like to contribute to this effort. Always remember that an institution is bigger than the sum of individuals in it.
Man, I've been here long enough to see where we started, to see where we are heading to. We cannot keep dancing in shit. '''If the users are taking it free for all, the responsibility lies with admins. Its your responsibility to keep this place sane and to create an environment where people conduct themselves with mutual respect'''.
