ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകനും പാര്‍ലമെന്റ് അംഗവുമാണ്''' ജസ്വന്ത് സിങ്''' (ജനനം [[ജനുവരി 3]], [[1938]]) . [[ഡാര്‍ജിലിങ്]] മണ്ഡലത്തെയാണ് [[രാജ്യസഭ|രാജ്യസഭയില്‍]] ഇദ്ദേഹം പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നത്. [[രാജസ്ഥാന്‍|രാജസ്ഥാന്‍കാരനായ]] ഇദ്ദേഹം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ കരസേനയില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 1996-ലെ [[അടല്‍ ബിഹാരി വാജ്പെയ്|അടല്‍ ബിഹാരി വാജ്പെയുടെ]] നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ അല്പകാലം മാത്രം നിലനിന്ന സര്‍ക്കാരില്‍ കേന്ദ്ര ധനകാര്യ മന്ത്രിയായിരുന്നു. 1998 മുതല്‍ 2002 വരെ കേന്ദ്ര വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രിയായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു. 2000-01 കാലയളവില്‍ തെഹല്‍ക വിവാദം മൂലം രാജിവെച്ച [[ജോര്‍ജ് ഫെര്‍ണാണ്ടസ്|ജോര്‍ജ് ഫെര്‍ണാണ്ടസിന്]] പകരമായി പ്രതിരോധ മന്ത്രിയായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു. 2002-ല്‍ വീണ്ടും ധനകാര്യ മന്ത്രിയായി. 2009-ല്‍ ഇദ്ദേഹമെഴുതിയ ''ജിന്ന- ഇന്ത്യ, പാര്‍ട്ടിഷ്യന്‍, ഇന്‍ഡിപെന്‍ഡന്‍സ്'' എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിലെ ചില പരാമര്‍ശങ്ങളെ മുന്‍നിര്‍ത്തി [[ബി.ജെ.പി.|ബിജെപിയില്‍]] നിന്നും പുറത്താക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
