== സ്വകാര്യ ജീവിതവും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും ==

ഷേയ്ഖ് [[റാഷിദ് ബിൻ സയീദ് അൽ മഖ്തും|റാഷിദ് ബിൻ സയീദ് അൽ മഖ്തുമിന്റെ]] നാലുമക്കളിൽ മൂന്നാമനാണ് മുഹമ്മദ് ബിൻ റാഷിദ് അൽ മഖ്തും. നാലുവയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോൾ തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹം അറബിക് ഭാഷയും ഇസ്ലാമിക വിഷയങ്ങളും പഠിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി. 1955ൽ അൽ അഹമദിയ സ്കൂളിൽ ഔപചാരിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ആരംഭിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം പത്താം വയസ്സിൽ അൽ ഷാബ് സ്കൂളിലേയ്ക്ക് മാറി. അതിനു ശേഷം രണ്ടു വർഷം കഴിഞ്ഞ് അദ്ദേഹം ദുബൈ സെക്കണ്ടറി സ്കൂളിലും പഠിച്ചു. [[1966]] ഓഗസ്റ്റിൽ അദ്ദേഹം [[ബെൽ എഡ്യുക്കേഷണൽ ട്രസ്റ്റ്|ബെൽ എഡ്യൂക്കേഷണൽ ട്രസ്റ്റിന്റെ]], [[യുണൈറ്റഡ് കിംഗ്ഡം|യു.കെയിലുള്ള]] ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് സ്കൂളിൽ ചേർന്നു.
