[[കേരളം|കേരളത്തിലെ]] [[വയനാട്]] ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമമാണ് '''ഇടക്കൽ''' (ഇടയ്ക്കൽ)({{coord|11|37|51|N|76|13|49|E|type:city_region:IN|display=inline,title}}). വയനാട് ജില്ലയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരമുള്ള മലയായ [[അമ്പുകുത്തി മല]] ഇടക്കലിൽ ആണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. പ്രാചീന കാലത്തെ [[നവീന ശിലായുഗം|നവീന ശിലായുഗ]] കാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ ഗുഹകൾ ഈ മലയിലുണ്ട്. ക്രിസ്തുവിനു പിൻപ് 8,000 വർഷത്തോളം ഈ ഗുഹകളിലെ ചുമർ ചിത്രങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രായമുണ്ട്. കല്ലിൽ കൊത്തിയാണ് ചിത്രങ്ങൾ നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അമ്പുകുത്തി മലയിൽ ഏകദേശം 1000 മീറ്റർ ഉയരത്തിലാണ് ഈ ഗുഹകൾ. ഗുഹകൾ സന്ദർശിക്കുവാനായി ഇടക്കലിൽ ഇറങ്ങി ഏകദേശം 1 കിലോമീറ്റർ കാൽ നടയായി മല കയറണം. പ്രകൃതി നിർമ്മിതമായ മൂന്നു മലകൾ ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്.
