ഈജിപ്റ്റ് കണ്ട മികച്ച യുദ്ധവീരന്മാരിലൊരാളാണ് ഓമൻഹോട്ടപ്പ് മൂന്നാമൻ. ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ വ്യാപകമായ നിർമ്മാണപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചതാണ് ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ നേട്ടം. ലക്സറിലേയും നൈൽ നദീതീരത്തേയും ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങൾ പലതും ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കാലത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയതാണ്. ക്രി.മു. 1391ലാണ് ഓമൻഹോട്ടപ്പ് മൂന്നാമന്റെ ജനനം. നാല്പതാം വയസ്സിൽ അദ്ദേഹം മരണമടഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോഴേക്കും ഈജിപ്റ്റ് വൻ സാമ്രാജ്യമായി മാറിയിരുന്നു. ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ ക്വയർണയിൽ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശവകുടീരമുണ്ട്.
