പിപ്റ്റോസ്പാത
അരേസീ കുടുംബത്തിലെ പൂച്ചെടികളുടെ ഒരു ജനുസ്സാണ് പിപ്റ്റോസ്പാത. റെയോഫിറ്റിക് സ്വഭാവം ഈ ജനുസ്സിന്റെ സവിശേഷതയാണ്. കൂടാതെ അതിന്റെ കപ്പ് പോലുള്ള പാളകളിൽ വെള്ളം തെറിച്ച് വിത്തുകൾ ചിതറുന്നു. തെക്കുകിഴക്കൻ ഏഷ്യ (തായ്ലൻഡ്, മലേഷ്യ, ബോർണിയോ) യിലെ തദ്ദേശവാസിയാണിത്.[2][3][4][5]
