പിങ്ക്, വൈറ്റ് ടെറാസെസ്
പിങ്ക് ടെറാസ് , or Te Otukapuarangi ("The fountain of the clouded sky") മയോറി, വൈറ്റ് ടെറാസ് , Te Tarata ("the tattooed rock"), എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇവ ന്യൂസിലാൻഡിന്റെ പ്രകൃതി അത്ഭുതങ്ങളാണ്.[1] ഭൂമിയിലെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളിൽ സിൻടെർ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സിലിക്ക നിക്ഷേപമാണെന്നാണ് അവർ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. പിങ്ക്, വൈറ്റ് ടെറാസെസ് സിലിക്ക-സാച്യറേറ്റെഡ് കോക്ടെയ്ൽ, അടുത്തുള്ള ന്യൂട്രൽ പി.എച്ച് ക്ലോറൈഡ് വെള്ളം എന്നിവ ഭൗമാത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ ഉയർത്തുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്.[3][2] പ്രധാനമായും കിഴക്കൻ റിഡ്ജിലെ പിന്നക്കിൾ റിഡ്ജ് (അഥവാ മണ്ടിയുടെ സ്റ്റീമിങ് റേഞ്ചുകൾ) രണ്ട് ലോകപ്രശസ്ത ഉറവുകളായ ചൂടു നീരുറവകളുടെയും ഗെയ്സറുകളുടെയും ഒരു ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു.[4]ന്ഗഹപു, റൗകിവി, ടെ ടെകാപോ, വൈകനപനപ, വട്ടപൊഹൊ, ന്ഗവന, കൊഇങോ, വകീഹു എന്നിവ പ്രധാന ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് ആകർഷണങ്ങൾ ആണ്.
