ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ചലചിത്ര അഭിനേത്രി

ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ നടിയും മോഡലുമാണ് ദ്രഷ്ടി ധാമി [3](ജനനം: 10 ജനുവരി 1985) [1]. ഇന്ത്യൻ സോപ്പ് ഓപ്പറയായ ഗീത് - ഹുയി സബ്സെ പരായി, മധുബാല - ഏക് ഇഷ്ക് ഏക് ജുനൂൺ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ മധുബാല, സിൽസില ബദൽതെ രിസ്തോം കാ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ നന്ദിനി തുടങ്ങിയ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അഭിനയിച്ചതിലൂടെ അവർ ഏറെ പ്രശസ്തയായി.

മുൻകാലജീവിതം

1985 ജനുവരി 10 ന് മുംബൈയിലെ ഒരു ഗുജറാത്തി കുടുംബത്തിലാണ് ദാമി ജനിച്ചത്. ആദ്യകാലപഠനങ്ങൾക്കായി മേരി ഇമ്മാക്കുലേറ്റ് ഗേൾസ് ഹൈസ്കൂളിൽ ചേർന്നു. മുംബൈയിലെ മിത്തിബായ് കോളേജിൽ നിന്നും സാമൂഹ്യശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി.[5]മോഡലിംഗിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നതിനുമുമ്പ്, ഡാമി ഒരു നൃത്ത പരിശീലകയായിരുന്നു. [6]ദാമി തന്റെ യാഥാസ്ഥിതിക കുടുംബത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ടൈംസ് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്ക് നൽകിയ അഭിമുഖത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു:

ഒരു മ്യൂസിക് വീഡിയോയിൽ നൃത്തം ചെയ്യാനുള്ള ഓഫർ എനിക്ക് ലഭിച്ചപ്പോൾ ... എന്റെ ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത ബന്ധുക്കൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ പത്ത് വ്യത്യസ്ത കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് എനിക്ക് അനുമതി തേടേണ്ടിവന്നു. എന്റെ കസിൻ തന്നെയാണ് എന്നെ പിന്തുണച്ചത്, എല്ലാവരേയും ബോധ്യപ്പെടുത്തി, എന്റെ കരിയർ രംഗത്ത് തീരുമാനമെടുക്കുമ്പോഴെല്ലാം എന്റെ കൂടെ നിൽക്കുന്നു. അതിനാൽ ഇത് എന്നെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം അത്ര എളുപ്പമല്ല, പക്ഷേ എന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ പിന്തുണ എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ പക്കലുണ്ട്.[7]
