ജർമ്മൻ സാമൂഹ്യചിന്തകനും,സംഗീത വിചക്ഷണനുമായിരുന്നു തിയഡോർ അഡോണോ(സെപ്റ്റം: 11, 1903 – ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 6, 1969).സമൂഹശാസ്ത്രവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ക്രിട്ടിക്കൽ തിയറിയുടെ പ്രധാന പ്രണേതാക്കളിൽ ഒരാളുമായിരുന്നു അഡോണോ.സംഗീത സംബന്ധിയായ അനേകം ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളും അഡോണോ രചിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
