താനാജി മാലുസരേ
ഒരു മറാഠാ യോദ്ധാവും ശിവാജിയുടെ കമാൻഡറുമായിരുന്നു താനാജി മാലുസരെ. [1] സിംഹഗഡ് യുദ്ധത്തിലെ [2] താനാജിയുടെ വീരകൃത്യങ്ങളും ജീവത്യാഗവും വിവരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഒരു പ്രാദേശിക കവിയായ തുളസീദാസ് ഒരു പോവാഡ(വീരകഥകൾ പാടുന്ന ഒരു മറാഠി കവിതാശാഖ) അദ്ദേഹത്തെ മറാഠി നാടോടിക്കഥകളിൽ ഏറെ ജനപ്രിയനാക്കി. [3][4]

ആദ്യകാലജീവിതം തിരുത്തുക
താനാജി ഒരു ഹിന്ദു കോലി കുടുംബത്തിൽ നിന്നാണ് വന്നത്. [5][6][7][8] താനാജിയുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ പേര് കഡോജി മാലുസാരെ എന്നാണ്. സൂര്യാജി മാലുസരെ എന്നൊരു സഹോദരനും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഉണ്ടാ‍യിരുന്നു. താനാജിയുടെ അമ്മാവനും(ഷേലാർ മാമ) ശിവാജിയുടെ സൈന്യത്തിൽ സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിരുന്നു. പാഞ്ച്ഗനിക്ക് സമീപം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഗോഡോളി ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കുടുംബം. മഹാബലേശ്വറിലെ പൊലാഡ്പൂരിലെ കൊള്ളക്കാരെ തടയാൻ ശിവാജി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നിയോഗിച്ചപ്പോൾ, അദ്ദേഹം ഉമ്രത്ത് ഗ്രാമത്തിലേക്ക് കുടിയേറി.
സൈനികജീവിതം തിരുത്തുക
ഒരു പരമാധികാര രാജ്യം സ്ഥാപിക്കുമെന്ന് ശിവാജി രായരേശ്വർ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ പ്രതിജ്ഞയെടുക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് താനാജി മാലുസരെ അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ശിവാജി അഫ്സൽ ഖാനെ വധിച്ച പ്രതാപ്ഗഡ് യുദ്ധത്തിൽ മറാത്താ സൈന്യത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.
