ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പ്രൊഫഷണൽ ഫുട്ബോൾ കളിക്കാരനാണ് ഡാനിയൽ ആൻഡ്രൂ സ്റ്ററിഡ്ജ് (ജനനം : സെപ്റ്റംബർ 1, 1989). ഇംഗ്ലണ്ട് ദേശീയ ഫുട്ബോൾ ടീമിലും, പ്രീമിയർ ലീഗ് ക്ലബ്ബായ ലിവർപൂളിൽ നിന്നും വായ്‌പ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ വെസ്റ്റ് ബ്രോംവിച്ച് ആൽബിയോണിനായും അദ്ദേഹം കളിക്കുന്നു. ഒരു സ്ട്രൈക്കർ ആയിട്ടാണ് സാധാരണ കളിക്കുന്നത് എങ്കിലും ചില അവസരങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു വിംഗർ ആയി ഉപയോഗിക്കപ്പെടാറുണ്ട്.

ബർമിങ്ഹാമിൽ ജനിച്ച സ്റ്ററിഡ്ജ്[3], ആസ്റ്റൺ വില്ല അക്കാഡമിയിൽ നാലുവർഷം ചിലവഴിച്ചശേഷം കവൻട്രി സിറ്റിയിലേയ്ക്കു മാറി.[4] 2003 ൽ മാഞ്ചസ്റ്റർ സിറ്റിക്ക് വേണ്ടി അദ്ദേഹം കരാർ ഒപ്പിട്ടു. സിറ്റിയിൽ തന്നെ തുടർന്ന അദ്ദേഹം രണ്ടു എഫ്.എ. യൂത്ത് കപ്പ് ഫൈനലുകളിൽ കളിച്ചു. 2007-08 സീസണിൽ അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം എഫ്.എ. യൂത്ത് കപ്പ്, എഫ്.എ. കപ്പ്, പ്രീമിയർ ലീഗ് എന്നീ വിവിധ ലീഗുകളിൽ ഒരേ സീസണിൽ ഗോൾ നേടിയ ഒരേയൊരു കളിക്കാരനായി. 2009 ൽ സിറ്റി വിട്ട് ചെൽസി ക്ലബ്ബുമായി കരാർ ഒപ്പുവെച്ചു. 2010-11 സീസണിന്റെ രണ്ടാം പകുതിയിൽ വായ്പ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം ബോൾട്ടൻ വാൻഡേഴ്സിലെത്തി. 2011-12 സീസണിൽ ബോൾട്ടണിലെ മികച്ച പ്രകടനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ചെൽസിയിലേക്ക് അദ്ദേഹം മടങ്ങിയെത്തി. 2013 ജനുവരിയിൽ ചെൽസിയിൽ നിന്നു ലിവർപൂളിലേക്ക് ചേക്കേറി. അവിടെ ലൂയിസ് സുവാരസുമായി പങ്കുചേർന്ന് എസ്എഎസ് എന്ന് അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ആക്രമണനിര രൂപീകരിച്ചു. ഇതിന്റെ ബലത്തിൽ ലിവർപൂൾ 2013-14 സീസണിൽ, സ്റ്ററിഡ്ജ് നേടിയ 21 ഗോളുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ, 100 ലീഗ് ഗോളുകൾ നേടി.[5] തുടർന്നു രണ്ട് സീസണുകളിൽ പരിക്കുകൾ മുഖേന സ്റ്ററിഡ്ജ് വളരെ കുറച്ച് പ്രാവശ്യം മാത്രമാണ് കളത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയത്.[6] 

എല്ലാ തലങ്ങളിലും ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിനെ സ്റ്ററിഡ്ജ് പ്രതിനിധാനം ചെയ്തു. പതിനഞ്ച് തവണ അണ്ടർ 21 ടീമിൽ കളിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം 4 ഗോളുകൾ നേടി. 2011 നവംബർ 15 ന് സ്വീഡനെതിരെ കളിച്ച് ഇംഗ്ളീഷ് ദേശീയ ടീമിൽ അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിച്ചു. 2012 ഒളിമ്പിക്സിലും 2014 ഫിഫ ലോകകപ്പിലും ദേശീയ ടീമിൽ അദ്ദേഹം തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
