ടൈറ്റസ് ലിവിയുസ് പറ്റാവിനുസ്
റോമിന്റെ ചരിത്രമെഴുതിയ ചരിത്രകാരനാണ്‌ ടൈറ്റസ് ലിവിയുസ് പറ്റാവിനുസ് (Classical Latin: [ˈtɪ.tʊs ˈliː.wi.ʊs pa.taˈwiː.nʊs]; 64 or 59 BC – AD 17).റോമിന്റെ ബൃഹത്തായ ചരിത്രവും റോമൻ ജനങ്ങളെ പറ്റിയും Ab Urbe Condita Libri (നഗരത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥാപനം മുതലുള്ള പുസ്തകം) റോമിന്റെ പഴയ ഇതിഹാസകാരന്മാരുടെ കാലം മുതൽ BC753ന് അഗസ്റ്റസ് റോം സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നത്‌ വരെയുള്ള ചരിത്രം അതിലടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.[1] അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ രചനകൾ BC 31നും BC25നു ഇടയ്ക്കാണ്‌ എഴുതാൻ തുടങ്ങിയത് എന്നാണ്‌ വിശ്വാസം.[2] ലിവിയുടെ അവശേഷിക്കുന്ന ഏക പുസ്തകമാണ്‌ അബ് ഉർബേ കോണ്ടിറ്റ(History of Rome).[3]
