ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിലെ മാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ കശ്മീർ ടൈംസ്, ഗ്രേറ്റർ കശ്മീർ, റൈസിംഗ് കശ്മീർ, ഡെയ്‌ലി എക്സൽസിയർ, റേഡിയോ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളായ എ‌ഐ‌ആർ ശ്രീനഗർ, എ‌ഐ‌ആർ ജമ്മു, റേഡിയോ മിർച്ചി 98.3 എഫ്എം,[1] റെഡ് എഫ്എം 93.5,[2]റേഡിയോ ശാർദയും സംസ്ഥാന ടെലിവിഷൻ പ്രക്ഷേപകരായ ഡി ഡി കശ്മീരും പ്രധാനികളാണ്. ന്യൂസ് 18 ഉറുദു, ഗുലിസ്ഥാൻ ന്യൂസ് എന്നിവയാണ് പ്രധാന സ്വകാര്യ ചാനലുകൾ.[3] ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിലും ദി സ്ട്രൈറ്റ് ലൈൻ പോലുള്ള വാർത്താ പോർട്ടലുകളുമായി ഡിജിറ്റൽ മീഡിയ മേഖല വളരുകയാണ്.[4]

സിനിമയും സംഗീതവും തിരുത്തുക

ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിലെ പ്രധാന ചലച്ചിത്ര-സംഗീത വ്യവസായങ്ങളാണ് കശ്മീരി സിനിമയും ദോഗ്രി സിനിമയും.[12] സംഗീത കമ്പനികളായ കെ‌ഡി‌എം‌ജമ്മു, മ്യൂസിക് ടേപ്പ് ഇൻഡസ്ട്രി (എം‌ടി‌ഐ) സ്റ്റുഡിയോ, ജമ്മു കശ്മീർ അക്കാദമി ഓഫ് ആർട്ട്, കൾച്ചർ ആൻഡ് ലാംഗ്വേജസ് (ജെ‌കെ‌എ‌എ‌സി‌എൽ), ടി-സീരീസ് കശ്മീരി മ്യൂസിക് എന്നിവ പരമ്പരാഗത കശ്മീരി നാടോടി സംഗീതത്തെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.[13][14] ചക്രി, ഹെൻ‌സ, വാൻ‌വുൻ, ലഡിഷ, ബച്ച നാഗ്മ , ഡോഗ്രി ഭാക്, ഗോജ്രി സംഗീതം പ്രശസ്തമാണ്.[15] രാജ് ബീഗം, വിഭാ സറഫ്, ഖാസി തുക്കീർ, ഷമീം ദേവ് ആസാദ്, നർഗീസ് ഖത്തൂൺ ബുഷ്ര & ഉസ്മ (ഇരട്ടകൾ), മെഹ്മീത് സയ്യിദ്, സകീന രേഷി, പ്രകാശ്, ഷബ്നം നാസ്, ഷമീമ അക്തർ, ഷീല സർഗാർ, ഷാസിയ ബഷീർ തുടങ്ങിയവർ പ്രധാന ഗായകരാണ്.[16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23] 1989 ന് ശേഷമുള്ള കശ്മീർ പോരാട്ടത്തിനിടെ സിനിമാ ഹാളുകൾ അടച്ചിരുന്നു. 1999 ൽ സിനിമാ ഹാളുകൾ വീണ്ടും തുറക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും നിരവധി ആക്രമണങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം ഉടൻ തന്നെ അവ വീണ്ടും അടച്ചു. 2017 ലെ "കശ്മീർ ലോക ചലച്ചിത്രമേള" യിൽ, കശ്മീരി രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരനായ നയീം അക്തർ സിനിമാ ഹാളുകൾ വീണ്ടും തുറക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് നിലപാടെടുത്തു.[24] കശ്മീരിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ മൾട്ടിപ്ലക്‌സ് നിലവിൽ നിർമ്മാണത്തിലാണ്,[25] പക്ഷേ, ജമ്മു ഡിവിഷന് ഒന്നിലധികം മൾട്ടിപ്ലക്സുകളുണ്ട്.  

റേഡിയോ തിരുത്തുക

ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിലെ റേഡിയോ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിൽ "ആകാശവാണി ശ്രീനഗർ", "ആകാശവാണി ജമ്മു", "റേഡിയോ ശാരദ" എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.[26] 1947 ഡിസംബർ 1 ന് നിലവിൽ വന്ന ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ പ്രക്ഷേപണ കേന്ദ്രമായിരുന്നു റേഡിയോ ജമ്മു കശ്മീർ.[27] ജമ്മു നഗരത്തിലെ സ്വകാര്യ എഫ്എം റേഡിയോ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളാണ് എഫ്എം തഡ്ക 95.0, ബിഗ് എഫ്എം 92.7, റേഡിയോ മിർച്ചി, റെഡ് എഫ്എം 93.5.[28][29] കശ്മീരി പണ്ഡിറ്റുകൾക്കായുള്ള ലോകവ്യാപക കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി റേഡിയോ സേവനമായ റേഡിയോ ഷാർദ ആരംഭിച്ചത് രമേശ് ഹാംഗ്ലൂ ആണ്.[30]

പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ തിരുത്തുക

നാടോടിക്കഥകൾ മുതൽ രാഷ്ട്രീയ സംഭവങ്ങൾ, ജനങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടപ്പാടുകൾ വരെ എല്ലാം പുസ്തകരൂപത്തിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[31] ജമ്മു ഡിവിഷന്റെ വാർഷിക സാഹിത്യോത്സവമാണ് യയവർ.[32] ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിലെ ഒരു തടാകത്തിലെ ഏക ബുക്ക്‌ഷോപ്പ് ലൈബ്രറിയാണ് ഗുൽ‌ഷൻ ബുക്സ്.[33] പ്രശസ്ത ഡോഗ്രി എഴുത്തുകാർ ജിതേന്ദ്ര ഉദംപുരി, ചമ്പ ശർമ എന്നിവരാണ്.

മീഡിയ സെൻസർഷിപ്പ് തിരുത്തുക

  • 2016 ൽ കശ്മീരിൽ പത്ര പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണങ്ങൾ മൂന്ന് ദിവസത്തേക്ക് നിരോധിച്ചിരുന്നു.[34]
  • ഉള്ളടക്കം സെൻസർ ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് 2017 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 24 ന് ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ് ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ ടെക്നോളജി മന്ത്രാലയം ഐടി നിയമത്തിലെ സെക്ഷൻ 69 എ പ്രകാരം ട്വിറ്ററിന് ഒരു കത്ത് അയച്ചു.[35]

“ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിലെ മാധ്യമ-മാധ്യമ രംഗം” എന്ന തലക്കെട്ടിൽ 2017 ലെ ഒരു പ്രസ് കൗൺസിൽ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ റിപ്പോർട്ട് കശ്മീരിലെ മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകർ തോക്കിന്റെയും രാഷ്ട്രീയ ഭുജം വളച്ചൊടിക്കുന്നതിന്റെയും ഇടയിൽ കർശനമായ വഴിയിലൂടെ നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യം വിവരിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. സുരക്ഷാ സേന ഫോട്ടോ ജേണലിസ്റ്റുകളെ "പ്രക്ഷോഭകരെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരായി" കണക്കാക്കുന്നു, അതേസമയം പ്രതിഷേധക്കാർ അവരെ "സർക്കാർ ഏജന്റുമാർ" എന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്നു.[36] ജമ്മു കശ്മീരിലെ മീഡിയ പോളിസി 2020 “സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ വിവരങ്ങളുടെ ഒഴുക്ക് കുത്തകയാക്കി” എന്നാരോപിച്ച് വിമർശിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[37]

മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരുടെ അറസ്റ്റ് തിരുത്തുക

കശ്മീർ ഫോട്ടോ ജേണലിസ്റ്റായ കമ്രാൻ യൂസഫിനെ 2017 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 5 ന് ദേശീയ അന്വേഷണ ഏജൻസി (എൻ‌ഐ‌എ) അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.[38][39] 2011 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 19 ന് ഫ്രീലാൻസ് ഫോട്ടോ ജേണലിസ്റ്റായ ഷോകത്ത് ഷാഫിയെ സർക്കാർ സേന തല്ലിച്ചതച്ചതായും അടുത്തുള്ള പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോയതായും ഡോൺ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തു. മോചിതനായ ശേഷം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു.[40]
