ദയൂബന്ദി പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിന് കീഴിലായി 1919- നവംബറിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച ഒരു മുസ്‌ലിം സംഘടനയാണ് ജംഇയ്യത്തുൽ ഉലമായെ ഹിന്ദ്. [1] അബ്ദുൽ ബാരി ഫിറൻജി മഹലി, കിഫായതുല്ലാഹ് ദഹ്ലവി, മുഹമ്മദ് ഇബ്റാഹിം മിർ സിലാകോട്ടി, സനാഉല്ലാഹ് അമൃത്സരി തുടങ്ങിയ ദയൂബന്ദ് പണ്ഡിതരാണ് ജംഇയ്യത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥാപകനേതാക്കൾ.[2]

2008-ൽ മഹ്‌മൂദ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ്, അർഷദ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് എന്നിങ്ങനെ രണ്ടായി പിളർന്നു.


ഇന്ത്യൻ നാഷണൽ കോൺഗ്രസ്സുമായി സഹകരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഖിലാഫത്ത് പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ സജീവ പങ്കാളിയായിരുന്നു ജംഇയ്യത്ത്. ഉയർന്നുവന്ന വിഭജനവാദത്തെ എതിർത്ത സംഘടന, സംയോജിത ദേശീയതയാണ് വേണ്ടതെന്ന നിലപാട് സ്വീകരിച്ചു. ഒരു വിഭാഗം വിഭജനത്തോട് അനുഭാവം പുലർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് ജംഇയ്യത്തുൽ ഉലമായെ ഇസ്‌ലാം എന്ന പുതിയ സംഘമായി വിഭജിച്ചു പോയി.

കിഫായതുല്ലാഹ് ദഹ്ലവിയാണ് ജംഇയ്യത്തിന്റെ ഭരണഘടന തയ്യാറാക്കിയത്[3][4]. നിലവിൽ വിവിധ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ വ്യാപിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്ന വലിയൊരു സംഘടനയാണ് ജംഇയ്യത്ത്. 2008-ലെ പിളർപ്പോടെ മഹ്‌മൂദ് മദനിയുടെയും അർഷദ് മദനിയുടെയും പേരുകളിൽ രണ്ട് സംഘങ്ങളായി ജംഇയ്യത്ത് പിരിഞ്ഞു.

സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ തിരുത്തുക

1920 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 8-ന് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ഉല്പന്നങ്ങൾ ബഹിഷ്കരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് തർക്കെ മവാലാത്ത് എന്ന പ്രമേയം പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു. നിസ്സഹകരണപ്രസ്ഥാനത്തെ മുസ്‌ലിംകൾക്കിടയിൽ എത്തിക്കാൻ ഈ പ്രമേയം വലിയ പങ്കുവഹിച്ചു[5][6][7][4].
