ചണ്ഡിഗഢ് മെട്രോ
ചണ്ഡിഗഢിൽ നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന ഒരു അതിവേഗഗതാഗതമാർഗ്ഗമാണ് ചണ്ഡിഗഢ് മെട്രോ (Chandigarh Metro). ആദ്യപാദത്തിൽ 37.57 കിലോമീറ്റർ നീളത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ഈ മെട്രോയുടെ 23.47 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഭൂമിക്ക് മുകളിലും 14.11 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഭൂഗർഭത്തിലും ആയിരിക്കും. വടക്കുനിന്നു തെക്കോട്ടാണ് ഇതു നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നത്. കാപിറ്റോൾ കോമ്പ്ലക്സിൽ തുടങ്ങുന്ന മെട്രോ മൊഹാലി വരെ നീളും. കിഴക്കുനിന്നും പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടുള്ള രണ്ടാം കോറിഡോർ സെക്ടർ 21 -ൽ നിന്നും തുടങ്ങി മുല്ലൻപൂർ വരെ എത്തും.[2][3]
