ഗ്ലാസ്ഗോ സർവ്വകലാശാല
സ്കോട്ട്ലൻഡിലെ ഗ്ലാസ്ഗോയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു പൊതു ഗവേഷണ സർവ്വകലാശാലയാണ് ഗ്ലാസ്ഗോ സർവകലാശാല. 1451 ൽ പാപ്പൽ ബുൾ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പോപ്പിൻറെ കൽപ്പനയനുസരിച്ചു സ്ഥാപിതമായ ഇത്, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ലോകത്തിലെ നാലാമത്തെ ഏറ്റവും പഴയ സർവകലാശാലയും സ്കോട്ട്ലൻറിലെ നാലു പുരാതന സർവകലാശാലകളിലൊന്നുമാണ്. എഡിൻബർഗ്, അബെർഡീൻ, സെൻറ് ആൻഡ്രൂസ് സർവകലാശാലകൾക്കൊപ്പം, പതിനെട്ടാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലെ സ്കോട്ടിഷ് പ്രബോധോദയത്തിൻറെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു ഈ സർവകലാശാല.
