1939 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 1ന് ഉത്തർ പ്രദേശിൽ ജനിച്ചു. അച്ഛനും അമ്മയും അധ്യാപകരായിരുന്നു.
പഠനം തിരുത്തുക
ബാന്ദയിൽ തന്റെ പ്രാഥമിക പഠനം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. അലഹബാദ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്നും ബിരുദം നേടി.
ജോലി തിരുത്തുക
1961ൽ റവന്യൂ സർവീസിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തു തുടങ്ങി. 11 നോവലുകളും 10 കഥാസമാഹാരങ്ങളും 53 പുസ്തകങ്ങളും 5 യാത്രാവിവരണങ്ങളും എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കുട്ടികൾക്കുവേണ്ടിയും പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
