2018 കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസ് ഔദ്യോഗികമായി XXI കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസ് എന്നും ഗോൾഡ് കോസ്റ്റ് 2018 എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. 2018 ഏപ്രിൽ 4 മുതൽ 15 വരെ കോമൺവെൽത്ത് അംഗങ്ങൾക്കായി അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര മൾട്ടി കായികസംരംഭമായ ഒരു പരിപാടി ഓസ്ട്രേലിയയിലെ ഗോൾഡ്കോസ്റ്റ്, ക്വീൻസ്ലാൻഡ്, എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ നടന്നു. കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ അഞ്ചാമത്തെ തവണ ആതിഥേയത്വം വഹിച്ച ഓസ്ട്രേലിയയിൽ ആദ്യമായി ഒരു വലിയ മൾട്ടി കായിക പരിപാടിയിൽ സ്ത്രീ-പുരുഷ വനിതകളുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ തുല്യമായ പരിപാടികൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ലിംഗ സമത്വം നേടിയിരുന്നു.[1]

കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസ് അസോസിയേഷനുകളിൽ നിന്നും 300 പാരാ അത്ലറ്റുകളടക്കമുള്ള 4,400 അത്ലറ്റുകൾ പങ്കെടുത്തു. .[2] കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഓഫ് നേഷൻസ്, കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസ് ഫെഡറേഷൻ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും 2013- ൽ ഗാംബിയ പിൻവാങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. 2018 മാർച്ച് 31 നാണ് ഇത് പുനരാരംഭിച്ചത്. [3] ബീച്ച് വോളിബോൾ, പാരാ ട്രൈത്ത്ലോൺ, വനിതാ റഗ്ബി സെവൻസ് എന്നീ19 കോമൺവെൽത്ത് സ്പോർട്ട്സിൽ 275 സെറ്റ് മെഡലുകളോടെ ഗെയിംസ് ഫീച്ചർ ചെയ്തു..ഈ കായിക പരിപാടികൾ ഹോസ്റ്റ് നഗരത്തിലെ 14 വേദികളിലായി നടന്നു. ബ്രിസ്ബെയ്നിലെ രണ്ടു വേദികളും കേരെൻസിലും, ടൗൺസ് വില്ലയിലുമായി ഓരോ വേദികളുമൊരുക്കിയിരുന്നു.
