കൊമാൻചെ

ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ അമേരിക്കൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ വർഗ്ഗക്കാരാണ് കൊമാൻചെ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഈ വർഗ്ഗക്കാരുടെ നേറ്റീവ് ഇന്ത്യൻ രാഷ്ട്രം ഗ്രേറ്റ് പ്ലെയിൻസിലുള്ള കൊമൻചേരിയ ആയിരുന്നു. ഇന്നത്തെ ന്യൂ മെക്സിക്കോ, തെക്കുകിഴക്കൻ കൊളറാഡോ, തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറൻ കൻസാസ്, പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ഒക്ലാഹാമ, വടക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ടെക്സാസന്റെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം ഭാഗങ്ങളും അടങ്ങിയതായിരുന്നു അക്കാലത്തെ കൊമൻചേരിയ രാഷ്ട്രം. ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ ഭരണഘടനാപരമായി അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ട കൊമാൻചെ രാഷ്ട്രത്തിൻറെ പ്രധാന കാര്യാലയം ഒക്ലാഹോമയിലെ ലോട്ടൺ ആണ്.[2]
