ഉവ്ഹാരി ദേശീയ വനം
ഉവ്ഹാരി ദേശീയ വനം (locally /juːˈwɑːri/ yoo-WAH-ree)[3] പ്രധാനമായും മോണ്ട്‌ഗോമറി കൗണ്ടിയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ഫെഡറൽ നിയുക്ത ദേശീയ വനമേഖലയാണ്. ഇത് വടക്കൻ കരോലിനയിലെ തെക്ക്, മധ്യ മേഖലകളിലെ റാൻഡോൾഫ്, ഡേവിഡ്‌സൺ കൗണ്ടികളിലേക്കും വ്യാപിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്നു. വടക്കൻ കരോലിനയിലെ നാല് ദേശീയ വനങ്ങളിൽ ഏറ്റവും ചെറുതായ ഇതിൻറെ മൊത്തം വിസ്തീർണ്ണം 50,645 ഏക്കർ (204.95 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ) ആണ്. അതിന്റെ ഭൂപ്രദേശത്തിൻറെ 79 ശതമാനവും മോണ്ട്‌ഗോമറി കൗണ്ടിയിലാണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. വടക്കൻ കരോലിനയിലെ ആഷെവില്ലെയിലെ പൊതു ആസ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്ന് മറ്റ് മൂന്ന് വടക്കൻ കരോലിന ദേശീയ വനങ്ങളായ ക്രൊയറ്റൻ, നന്തഹാല, പിസ്ഗാഹ് എന്നിവയ്‌ക്കൊപ്പം ഈ ദേശീയ വനവും നിയന്ത്രിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. എന്നിരുന്നാലും, വടക്കൻ കരോലിനയിലെ ട്രോയിയിൽ ഇതിന് ഒരു പ്രാദേശിക റേഞ്ചർ ജില്ലാ ഓഫീസ് ഉണ്ട്. വനത്തിനുള്ളിൽ 5,025-ഏക്കർ (20.34 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ) വിസ്തീർണ്ണത്തിൽ ഔദ്യോഗികമായി നിയുക്തമായ ഒരു വന്യഭൂമി ബിർക്ക്ഹെഡ് മൌണ്ടൻസ് വൈൽഡേർനസ് എന്ന പേരിൽ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു.
