തിരുത്തുകവേണു (മമ്മൂട്ടി) എന്ന ഒരു സമ്പന്ന ഫിനാൻസ് കമ്പനി ഉടമയുടെ കഥയാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം. [9][10]

തിരുത്തുകവേണു എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതിന് 17-ാമത് ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ് ഫിലിം അവാർഡ്, 62-ാമത് ഫിലിം ഫെയർ അവാർഡ് സൗത്ത്, 2014 വനിത ഫിലിം അവാർഡ്, എന്നിവയുടെ മികച്ച നടനുള്ള അവാർഡ് മമ്മൂട്ടിക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു.[11][12][13] നാലാം സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ മൂവി അവാർഡുകളിൽ മികച്ച നടനുള്ള അവാർഡിന് ഇദ്ദേഹം നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
രാമു കാര്യാട്ട് മൂവി അവാർഡുകളിൽ മികച്ച നടിക്കുള്ള പുരസ്കാരം ആശ ശരത്ത് നേടി. മികച്ച നടിക്കുള്ള ഫിലിം ഫെയർ പുരസ്കാരത്തിന് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു. [14][15][16]
