ആൻഗസ് വിൽസൺ
സർ ആൻഗസ് ഫ്രാങ്ക് ജോൺസ്റ്റൺ വിൽസൺ, CBE (ജീവിതകാലം:11 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 1913 – 31 മെയ് 1991) ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് നോവലിസ്റ്റും ചെറുകഥാകൃത്തുമായിരുന്നു. 1958 ൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻറെ The Middle Age of Mrs Eliot എന്ന കൃതിയ്ക്ക് “ജയിംസ് ടെയ്റ്റ് ബ്ലാക്ക് മെമ്മോറിയൽ പ്രൈസ്” ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു.[3]

ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിലെ സസ്സക്സിലുള്ള ബെക്സ്ഹില്ലിൽ ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പിതാവിൻറെയും സൌത്ത് ആഫ്രക്കൻ മാതാവിൻറെയും മകനായിട്ടാണ് വിൽസൺ ജനിച്ചത്.[4] വെസ്റ്റ്മിനിസ്റ്റർ സ്കൂളിലും ഒക്സ്ഫോർഡിലെ മെർട്ടൺ കോളജിലും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു.[5] 1937 ൽ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് മ്യൂസിയത്തിലെ അച്ചടിച്ച പുസ്തകങ്ങളുടെ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ഒരു ലൈബ്രേറിയനായി ജോലി ലഭിച്ചു. രണ്ടാംലോകമഹായുദ്ധകാലത്ത് നാവികസേനയിൽ ഇറ്റാലിയൻ നേവൽ കോഡുകൾ തർജ്ജമ ചെയ്യുന്ന ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
