ക്വാബെന ഗ്യാൻസാ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് 2018-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഘാന നാടക ചിത്രമാണ് അസലി. 92-ാമത് അക്കാദമി അവാർഡിൽ മികച്ച അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ഫീച്ചർ ഫിലിമിനുള്ള ഘാന എൻട്രിയായി ഇത് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. പക്ഷേ അത് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടില്ല.[1] മികച്ച ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ ഫീച്ചർ ഫിലിം ഓസ്‌കാറിന് ഘാന ആദ്യമായി ഒരു ചിത്രം സമർപ്പിച്ചു.[2]
