കൊബ്രളോവ എന്ന ടീമിനു വേണ്ടിയാണു ആദ്യമായി കളിക്കുന്നത്. 2006 ൽ ഇറ്റലിയിലെ യുദ്നീസ് കാൽഷിയോ എന്ന ടീം സാഞ്ചസിനെ സ്വന്തമാക്കിയെങ്കിലും ഒാരോ വർഷം കോളോ-കോളോ, റിവർ പ്ലേറ്റ് ഏന്നീ ടീമുകളിൽ വായ്പ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ കളിപ്പിച്ചു.ശേഷം യുദ്നീസ് ടീമിൽ സിരീ എ കളിച്ച സാഞ്ചസ് 2011 ൽ 25 ദശലക്ഷം പൗണ്ടിനു ബാർസലോണ ടീമിലെത്തി. ഇത് ചിലിയൻ ഫുട്ബോൾ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കൈമാറ്റത്തുകയായി.2014 ജൂലായിൽ സാഞ്ചസിനെ 35 ദശലക്ഷം പൗണ്ടിനു ആഴ്‍സണൽ സ്വന്തമാക്കി. ഒാസിലിനു ശേഷം ടീമിലെത്തിയ വിലയേറിയ താരമായി സാഞ്ചസ്.

2006 മുതൽ ദേശീയ ടീമിൽ കളിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയ സാഞ്ചസ് 89 കളികളിൽ നിന്നായി 31 ഗോളുകൾ നേടി,ക്ലാഡിയോ ബ്രാവോയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം ദേശീയ ടീമിനു വേണ്ടി ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ കളിച്ച താരം ടീമിനു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഗോൾ നേട്ടത്തിൽ മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനത്താണ്.
