വൊലൊഫ് ഭാഷ

വൊലൊഫ് ഭാഷ സെനെഗൽ, ഗാംബിയ, മൗറിത്താനിയ എന്നീ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെയും വൊലൊഫ് ജനതയുടെയും ഭാഷയാണ്. ഇതിന്റെ അടുത്ത ഭാഷകളായ, സെറെർ, ഫുല ഭാഷകളെപ്പോലെ ഇതും നൈജർ-കോംഗോ ഭാഷാകുടുംബത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട സെനെഗാംബിയൻ കൈവഴിയിൽപ്പെടുന്നു. മറ്റു സബ് സഹാറൻ ഭാഷകളെപ്പോലെ വൊലൊഫ് ഭാഷ ശബ്ദവ്യതിയാനഭാഷയല്ല.

ലെബു ജനതയുടെ ഭാഷയായാണ് വൊലൊഫ് ഭാഷ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചത്. സെനഗലിലെ ഭാഷകളിലേറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഭാഷകളിലൊന്നാണിത്. അവിടെ 40% പേർ ഈ ഭാഷ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
