പെറ്റ ടിക്വ
ടെൽഅവീവിന് കിഴക്ക് 10.6 കിലോമീറ്റർ (6.59 മൈൽ) ദൂരത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഇസ്രായേലിലെ സെൻട്രൽ ഡിസ്ട്രിക്റ്റിലെ ഒരു നഗരമാണ് പെറ്റ ടിക്വ. (ഹീബ്രു: פֶּתַח תִּקְוָה, ഐപിഎ: [ˌpe.taχ ˈtik.va], "പ്രതീക്ഷയുടെ തുറക്കൽ") എം ഹാമോഷാവോട്ട് ("മോഷാവോട്ടിന്റെ അമ്മ") എന്നും ഇത് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. പ്രധാനമായും പഴയ യിഷുവിലെ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് ജൂതന്മാരാണ് 1878-ൽ ഇത് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. 1883-ൽ ബാരൻ എഡ്മണ്ട് ഡി റോത്ചൈൽഡിന്റെ സാമ്പത്തിക സഹായത്തോടെ ഇവിടം ഒരു സ്ഥിരവാസസ്ഥാനമായി.

2019-ൽ നഗരത്തിലെ ജനസംഖ്യ 240,357 ആയിരുന്നു. ഇവിടത്തെ ജനസാന്ദ്രത ഒരു ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്ററിൽ 6,277 നിവാസികളാണ് (16,260 / ചതുരശ്ര മൈൽ). ഇതിന്റെ അധികാരപരിധി 35,868 ദുനാം (~ 35.9 കിമി 2 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ 15 ചതുരശ്ര മൈൽ) ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു. ടെൽ അവീവ് മെട്രോപൊളിറ്റൻ ഏരിയയുടെ ഭാഗമാണ് പെറ്റാ ടിക്വ.

"... അച്ചോറിന്റെ താഴ്വരയെ പ്രതീക്ഷയുടെ വാതിലാക്കി മാറ്റുക." ഹോശേയ 2: 15-ലെ ബൈബിൾ പരാമർശത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പെറ്റ തിക്വയുടെ പേര് ("പ്രത്യാശയുടെ വാതിൽ" എന്നർത്ഥം) എടുക്കുന്നു. [2]യെരീഹോയ്ക്കടുത്തുള്ള അച്ചോർ വാലി, ആദ്യകാലത്ത് നഗരത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു. പട്ടണത്തിന് മുമ്പുള്ള അറബ് ഗ്രാമത്തിന് ശേഷം നഗരത്തെയും അതിലെ നിവാസികളെയും ചിലപ്പോൾ "മ്ലേബ്സ്" എന്ന വിളിപ്പേരിൽ വിളിച്ചിരുന്നു.

പെറ്റാ ടിക്വ സ്ഥാപിച്ച സ്ഥലം വളരെക്കാലം മുമ്പുതന്നെ മുലാബിസ് എന്ന ഗ്രാമമായി നിലനിന്നിരുന്നു.[3]
കുരിശുയുദ്ധവും മംലൂക്ക് കാലഘട്ടവും തിരുത്തുക
പത്തൊൻപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ ഫ്രഞ്ച് പണ്ഡിതൻ ജെ. ഡെലവില്ലെ ലെ റൗൾക്സ് മുന്നോട്ടുവച്ച ബൾബസ് എന്ന ക്രൂസേഡർ ഗ്രാമത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്താണ് ഖിർബത്ത് മുലാബിസ് പണിതതെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. (Fr) “മൂന്ന് പാലങ്ങളുടെ മിൽ / മില്ലുകൾ” (“ഡെസ് മൗലിൻസ് ഡെസ് ട്രിയോസ് പോണ്ട്സ്”) ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഹോസ്പിറ്റലർ ഓർഡറിനുള്ള സ്ഥലം കൗണ്ട് ഓഫ് ജാഫ അനുവദിച്ചതായി എ.ഡി. 1133 ൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരു കുരിശുയുദ്ധ സ്രോതസ്സ് പറയുന്നു.[4][5][6][7]
1478-ൽ (883 AH) ഈജിപ്തിലെ മംലൂക്ക് സുൽത്താൻ, ഖൈറ്റ്ബേ, മുലാബിസിന്റെ വരുമാനത്തിന്റെ നാലിലൊന്ന് പുതുതായി സ്ഥാപിതമായ ജറുസലേമിലെ മദ്രസ അൽ-അഷ്റഫിയ, ഗാസയിലെ ഒരു പള്ളി എന്നീ രണ്ട് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്ക് നൽകി. [3]
ഓട്ടോമൻ യുഗം തിരുത്തുക
മുലാബിസ് തിരുത്തുക
1596-ൽ ഓട്ടോമൻ നികുതി രേഖകളിൽ പരാമർശിച്ച 42 മുസ്ലിം കുടുംബങ്ങളുള്ള മിലസ് എന്ന ഗ്രാമമായിരുന്നു മുലാബിസ് എന്ന് അഭിപ്രായമുണ്ട്.[8]1799 ൽ നെപ്പോളിയൻ അധിനിവേശ സമയത്ത് ജാക്കോട്ടിന്റെ ഭൂപടത്തിൽ മെലെബ്സ് എന്ന പേരിൽ ഈ ഗ്രാമം കാണപ്പെട്ടു.[9] അതേസമയം ഹെൻറിക് കീപ്പർട്ട് 1856-ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച തെക്കൻ പലസ്തീന്റെ ഭൂപടത്തിൽ എൽ മുലെബിസ് എന്ന് വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[10]പലസ്തീന്റെ തീരപ്രദേശത്തെ താഴ്ന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ കുടിയേറുന്ന വ്യാപകമായ അബു ഹമീദ് അൽ മസ്രി വംശത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ഈജിപ്ഷ്യൻ കുടിയേറ്റക്കാർ ലെവന്റിലേക്കുള്ള ഇബ്രാഹിം പാഷയുടെ (1831-1841) ഈജിപ്തിന്റെ പര്യവേഷണത്തെത്തുടർന്ന് ഈ ഗ്രാമം വീണ്ടും ജനകീയമാക്കി. [11]
1870-ൽ വിക്ടർ ഗുറിൻ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടത് തണ്ണിമത്തൻ, പുകയില എന്നിവയുടെ വയലുകളാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട 140 ആളുകളുള്ള ഒരു ചെറിയ ഗ്രാമമാണ് മെലെബ്സ്. [12]അതേ വർഷം തന്നെ ഒരു ഓട്ടോമൻ ഗ്രാമ പട്ടികയിൽ കാണിക്കുന്നത് മുലെബ്സിൽ 43 വീടുകളും 125 ജനസംഖ്യയുമുണ്ടെന്നാണ്. ജനസംഖ്യയിൽ പുരുഷന്മാർ മാത്രം ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഗ്രാമം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത് ഒരു കുന്നിൻ മുകളിലാണ്.[13][14]
പലസ്തീൻ പര്യവേഷണ ഫണ്ടിന്റെ സർവേ ഓഫ് വെസ്റ്റേൺ പലസ്തീൻ 1874-ൽ മുലെബിസ് സന്ദർശിക്കുകയും അതിനെ "കിണറുള്ള സമാനമായ ഒരു ചെളി ഗ്രാമം (അൽ-മിർ പോലെ) " എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[15] മുലാബിസിന്റെ ഭൂമി യഹൂദ സംരംഭകർക്ക് വിറ്റതിനെത്തുടർന്ന്, അവിടത്തെ താമസക്കാർ ജൽജൂലിയ, ഫജ്ജ തുടങ്ങിയ അയൽ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് ചിതറിപ്പോയി.[16]
