അമേരിക്കൻ ടെലിവിഷൻ സംപ്രേഷണ ശൃംഖലയാണ് നാഷണൽ ബ്രോഡ്കാസ്റ്റിംഗ് കമ്പനി (എൻ ബി സി). കോംകാസ്റ്റിന്റെ ഒരു അനുബന്ധസ്ഥാപനമായ എൻബിസി യൂണീവേഴ്സലിന്റെ കീഴിലാണ് ഇതു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്. ന്യൂയോർക്കിലെ റോക്ഫെല്ലർ പ്ലാസയിലും ലോസ് ആഞ്ചലസിലും ചിക്കാഗോയിലും ഈ ശൃംഖലയ്ക്ക് പ്രധാന ഓഫീസുകൾ ഉണ്ട്. മൂന്ന് പ്രധാന ടെലിവിഷൻ ശൃംഖലകൾ ഇതുമായി സംയോജിപ്പിച്ചിരിയ്ക്കുന്നു.ആദ്യകാല കളർ ബ്രോഡ്കാസ്റ്റിംഗ് രംഗത്ത് കമ്പനിയുടെ നൂതനതകൾ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി 1956 ൽ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച പീകോക്ക് ലോഗോയെ അനുകരിച്ച് "പീകോക്ക് നെറ്റ് വർക്ക്" എന്ന് എൻബിസി യെ വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇത് 1979 ൽ ഔദ്യോഗിക ചിഹ്നമായി മാറി.
